The Postgraduate Program may provide a number of scholarships based on academic criteria to full-time students, according to a decision of the Assembly, which determines the amount and number of scholarships, the criteria and the relevant supporting documents, the procedure for granting scholarships, as well as the obligations and rights of the scholarship holders.
The program may also award prizes to students with outstanding performance, according to criteria and procedure established by decision of the Assembly.

Awards of Excellence
The University of the Aegean has established Awards of Excellence for postgraduate students. The awards are announced periodically and cover the entire range of scientific fields treated by the Institution. The aim is to encourage research efforts also at postgraduate level that lead either to presentations at recognized international conferences or to publications in scientific journals and which contribute catalytically to the promotion of the research character of the Institution.
