The aim of this project is to bring this expertise together and create a continuous diagnostic instrument that teachers can use to measure basic skills in arithmetic and algebra at the end of a two-year learning period at grades 0 to 8<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup>. Thus, four diagnostic tests will be created that incorporate visuo-spatial skills required for number learning. Furthermore, the projects aim to explicitly acknowledge the special needs of inclusive classrooms for the application of diagnostic tools. During the project the development of both, a website and a mobile application, took place for the conduct of synchronous online and distance mathematics education. The system enables teachers to select already existing or to create own tasks and mathematical learning paths, i.e. a sequence of tasks. The Goethe University is the ASYMPTOTE Project Coordinator, with PI Prof. Dr. Matthias Ludwig head of Institut f\u00fcr Didaktik der Mathematik und der Informatik.

ELPEIDA<\/b><\/u><\/span>: (3\/3\/2023-30\/06\/2023)<\/b><\/u>.<\/u> This project concerned the development of the innovative learning software for the Kindergarten (ELPEIDA = Preschool Education Software for Creativity and Cognitive, Emotional and Social Development Skills) with corresponding educational scenarios, adapted to the requirements of the new Preschool Education curriculum for the Greek school as well as the training and supporting the implementation of a sufficient number (500+) pre-school teachers to use this software with mobile or other digital devices in real classroom conditions. The contracting authority is the Greek Institute of Educational Policy. The contractor is the University of Patras\/ELKE with Professor Vassilis Komis as the scientific director. Graduates of the program participated in the design and development processes of the software. <\/span>

The collaborating partners developed and pilot tested 50 lesson plans which are available on the project website. COMPUTATIONAL THINKING AT SCHOOL: <\/b><\/u><\/span>(1\/9\/2019-31\/8\/2022). <\/b><\/span>In the project titled Computational Thinking at School \u2013 CompuT, secondary education schools from Greece, Spain, Portugal, Norway collaborated in the Strategic Partnerships Program Erasmus KA2, School Education Sector, with the Coordination of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Dodecanese, which applied the proposal in collaboration with the University of the Aegean. During the program secondary education teachers trained concerning the integration of Computational Thinking into their educational practice.
