The Secretariat has the task of providing secretarial support to the Program, preparing the admission procedure for candidates, updating the student register, maintaining the financial data of the Program, monitoring the implementation of the budget and informing the Program Director, providing secretarial support to the Coordinating Comittee, the registration of grades, the collection and processing of data for evaluation, the promotion of the program to prospective postgraduate students of the program, as well as to universities abroad, etc.

The secretariat of the Department as well as the member of the Special Technical Laboratory Staff of the Laboratory of Learning Technology and Educational Engineering also provide support services to the Postgraduate Program.

In addition, the Postgraduate Program is systematically supported by the secretariat of the Department of Sciences of Preschool Education and Education Design.

Indicative administrative acts of the Postgraduate Program Secretariat concerning the students:

  1. Processing of applications/confirmation of enrolment of incoming students
  2. Processing of applications/confirmations of participation in examinations
  3. Processing of internship applications/confirmations
  4. Processing of applications for thesis work
  5. Processing of applications for participation in an oath-taking ceremony
  6. Processing of applications/confirmations of student status, completion of studies, detailed grades and other documents concerning the student’s graduation in cooperation with the Secretariat of Department of Sciences of Preschool Education and Education Design through the Student Registry (copy of degree, certificate of pedagogical and teaching competence, diploma annex in Greek and English)
  7. Processing of requests for justification of absences
  8. Processing requests for suspension or removal from the program
  9. Processing requests for sample checks in cooperation with the Secretariat of the Department
  10. Processing of certificates of attendance/participation of students in workshops/conferences of the program
