For the registration and monitoring of the Postgraduate Program, the payment of tuition fees totaling Two Thousand Eight Hundred Euros (€2,800) is foreseen. It is possible to pay them in four installments: 700 euros within 20 days of the announcement of the successful candidates, 700 euros upon registration in the first semester, 700 euros at the beginning of the second semester and 700 euros at the beginning of the third semester, on dates that are defined by the Secretariat.
A percentage of up to thirty percent (30%), of the students who have completed their registration at the Program may be exempted from tuition fees, as long as they meet the conditions of article 86 of Law 4957/2022.

According to the internal regulation of the Faculty of Education (Government Gazette 4227/12.04.2024, v.B’), in the event of the withdrawal of a postgraduate student, the fees paid are not refunded. However, you may, if you wish, submit an application for your request to be reviewed by the competent committee.
In the case of re-studying a course, are tuition fees payable?
In the event that a student fails a course, he or she can be re-examined in that course in the (re)examination period in September.
If the graduate student fails the course or courses at the September re-examination, then he/she is given two options:
(a) He/she may be examined following his/her application, in the same examination period, by a three-member committee of faculty members who have the same or a related academic subject as the course under examination and are designated by the Department Assembly. The person in charge of the examination of the teacher’s course is excluded from the committee (par. 6 article 34 of Law 4485/2017). The request for review by a three-member Committee should be submitted to the Secretariat of the Postgraduate Program within 10 days of the announcement of the result of the September examination. If the student does not submit an application within the time limits prescribed by the Department or if he/she fails the examination by the three-member committee, then he/she will be deleted by decision of the Assembly (ie he/she will be deleted in September).
(b) The student may choose to retake the course(s) in which he/she failed (i.e. he/she will not choose to be examined by the three-member Committee) in the following academic year for a tuition fee of one hundred and fifty euros (150) per course, as long as the maximum time limit for studying at the program is not exceeded, taking into account the semester needed to carry out the Internship and Elaboration of the Diploma Thesis. In the event that he/she fails, after being re-solicited, the examination of a course or courses, the examination conditions mentioned above under (a) apply.
