During the third semester of studies, a Dissertartion is completed in two stages:
α) The first stage concerns the completion of the seminar-lab course: Δ.Ε.1: “Methods Oriented to Dissertation Thematic Areas” (5 ECTS) which focuses on the development of the dissertation project and the specialization of the research methodology in the respective problematic
b) In the second stage, the implementation of the drafting plan takes place within the framework of the special course entitled “Dissertation: Writing and Assesing the Dissertation” (15 ECTS).
The total of 20 credits corresponds to 600 hours of workload for each student (40 seminar attendance, 60 theoretical study, 50 group collaboration, 30 initial writing-structure, 100 literature and T.P.E. search, 50 planning and advisory meetings, 120 processing of materials and implementation of research, 50 for collaboration with the supervisor for the elaboration of conclusions and 100 for final writing).
The method of calculating the final grade of the Dissertation is indicated in Article 11 of the text of the Regulations.
